On Sunday, February 6th, 2022, the Harford County Fire and EMS Foundation suffered the tragic and unexpected loss of EMT Wayne Fisher while on-duty at his C-Shift assignment.

It is a tradition in the Fire & EMS Service to honor those lost in the line of duty whether performing duties or awaiting a call for service.

EMT Wayne Fisher will receive a full Line of Duty service on February 17th and will be laid to rest at Dulaney Memorial Gardens.

Time:1400hrs - 2000hrs
Location: Mount Christian Church- Cooks Auditorium at 1824 Mountain Road, Joppatowne, MD

Funeral Date: Thursday February 17th, 2022
Time: 1100hrs
Location: Mount Christian Church - Cooks Auditorium at 1824 Mountain Road, Joppatowne, MD.

After the funeral services, there will be a procession from Mount Christian Church to Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens located at 200 East Padonia Road, Lutherville-Timonium, MD

Following the graveside services, the Harford County Fire & EMS Foundation invite all to attend a reception in honor of EMT Fisher. This will be at Martin's Valley Mansion, located at 594 Cranbrook Road, Cockeysville, MD.

Foundation Operations Manager has placed all employees on leave for February 17th dayshift to allow personnel to attend and celebrate the life of EMT Wayne Fisher. The Harford County Fire and EMS Foundation would like to extend our gratitude and sincere thanks to all mutual aid agencies and personnel that will be filling in to provide emergency medical services to Harford County during this time, allowing our employees and partner agencies to pay their respects to EMT Wayne Fisher.
